Since 1990, Biominas Foundation has been promoting the creation and development of biobusiness in Brazil.

Along this time, Biominas became a reference institution in biotechnology market, through the contribution given to the creation of investment funds, management of incentive programs, provision of specialized services to entrepreneurs, and preparation of researches about the Brazilian biotechnology sector.
